We generally employ a graduate in each year and provide practical legal training and career development up to and beyond their admission as a Legal Practitioner.

All of our graduates have continued in employment with us after their admission. One has recently left only after maternity leave.

The principal of the firm is Dean Evans, a Queensland Law Society Accredited Specialist in Family Law.

He was raised on the Gold Coast, attending The Southport School and later Bond University.

Married with two children, he established the firm in 1997.

Our associates comprise Fiona Browne, Luke Brandon and Jerome Hey.

Fiona Browne is a Solicitor of 11 years’ standing. She was born and raised on the Gold Coast, attending Star of the Sea College and later Bond University.

Luke Brandon has been with the firm for the past five (5) years. He completed his articles of clerkship here after schooling at All Saints Anglican College and a degree in law at the Queensland University of Technology.

Jerome Hey has worked at Evans & Company since October, 2006. Like all our staff, he is a true Gold Coaster, completing his education at The Southport School and Griffith University.

Dean, Fiona, Luke and Jerome each pursue a wide variety of interests and activities which make them well grounded people with good life experience.
